The designs of the Illumination-i Nur Vase are exhibited in the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art, inspired by the illumination decorations of Şahname-i Firdevs *, prepared in the name of Sultan Ali Mirza, one of the Shahs of Gilan from the Timurid period. The Illumination-i Nur Vase is made of handmade glass and all the relief patterns on it are handcrafted and decorated using 24 carat gold gilding and glass paints.
